Anyone have any idea why my cmax wont unlock with central locking anymore (used to everytime, then did sometimes and not others, now it never will. The third button on the remote which activates the boot lock alone still works, so i can still open the boot- but it wont unlock with the rest of the doors anymore.

is there a reason and a fix for this????

Haven't heard of this on a C Max, but since the lock's working on the 3rd button, the solenoid's obviously OK. I would go for the plug(s) in the control unit - and look for a central locking relay. Taking it out and putting it back in can cure a lot of minor bad connections.

I had the same with my c-max,it eventually went also to the passenger door as well as the boot,had to return to the dealer who fitted a new relay unit.
