I have a Honda Jazz which is about 18 months old. Recently I had to have a new clutch fitted and at the same time a new set of front brakes. Up until that point the car had been fine but since then it has become very noisy at the front nearside end. It is creaking, knocking and clicking but not in a consistent way - sometimes it will knock as applying a full steering lock but sometimes not. Other times it is creaking as I m braking, but other times not. Sometimes it creaks as I m pulling away, but not always. Furthermore, over the past couple of days, a definite rumble has been coming from the axle. I have not been able to find any explanation for what might be causing this though I am guessing it has something to do with steering, brakes, suspension, axle or all four. Or could it be down to a lack of lubrication somewhere? Could it be that the guys who fitted the new clutch and front brakes drained something that they forgot to refill? Can anyone enlighten me?

Hi

I hope you took the car straight back to the garage who did the clutch and brakes.  Doing the clutch involves dismantling some of the fron suspensions and it's very likely that it hasn't been put back together properly.
