Hi guys, new here, my question is, i read on a website that putting air vents in a cars bonnet helps hot air escape from under the bonnet and allowing cooler air in thus been kinder to the engine and maybe helping the engine perform a bit better, any opinions welcome please.

Dont do that .You will wreck your bonnet .Change your oil to synthetic + a new air filter + new spark plugs + tyre pressures will be better !
