The van runs is "safe" mode with no power and a lot of smoke with the engine management light on, have had it checked out. Originally a fault code for the knock sensor was up, one was fitted and the code cleared. The Management light is now still on but with no codes present and still running in "safe" mode... Anyone had the same thing or know the solution?

Hi  This doesn't sound like "safe" mode, especially if there's lots of smoke.  EGR valve is a common problem that gives these symptoms and might not trigger a fault code.
