| i have a bmw 5L v8 m5 (2001) its got a misfire low down but when i accelerate it seems to clear its lacking power, and its sucking oil through both air flow metres. every one keeps saying is it the vanos units but there not that old it had 2 new ones not so long ago, could the timing be out? i dont know but can anyone help or give me some advice its booked into bmw next week as no one will touch it but bmw is going to cost a fair bit!! just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem an knows what it is before i take it to bmw next week???
